I have directed over fifteen productions, including several world premieres. I've also served as the resident director of MU Improv and the Guerrilla Theatre Troupe, where I staged multiple social issues plays and scenes throughout the Illinois State University community. I've also worked on numerous concert readings of new plays, focusing on new play development and building relationships with emerging playwrights. Aside from work on plays like Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, and new plays like Nick Ryan's Deviled Eggs, I've also worked with devised sketch shows with Shantz Theatre, including the critically acclaimed productions of Requiem for a Department Store, or How Jesus Taught me to Shop at Macy's, and No-EL, or How the BlagojeGrinch Stole Christmas - both productions were recommended by The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, and Chicago Magazine among others.  In addition to my directing work with scripted plays, I've also worked extensively as a director and coach for numerous improvisational groups.
